I asked this man if he had a computer so I could send him this photograph. He told me he didn’t believe in computers, or television, or the radio. He didn’t like the circuits and the wires. Then he told me about the drunk woman passed out in the dumpster that was nearly crushed by a trash compactor. Then he told me he was 16 months sober as of Sunday. This all happened in about 30 seconds. I hope he’s keeping clean.
